Italian Cat Names

1  -Todi, a powerful and short name for a cat. 

2  -Prato, the name of a town in Italy.

3  -Palo, one of those words you’ll see almost everywhere in this country. A good name for a feline.

4  -Nova, the name of an Italian rock and jazz band from the 70s. A swinging cat name.

5  -Divino, meaning divine. We love its pronunciation as much as its meaning.

6  -Palermo, we always loved the sound of this city in Sicily. 

7  -Caldo, meaning warm. What an amazing name this would make.

8  -Pigro, it stands for lazy. Which is nonsense because a cat is awake almost two hours every day.

9  -Nardo a small village in the heel of Italy.

10 -Crespo,  this word stands for crisp, frizzy and fuzzy. An Ace example!

11 -Occhi, you must have heard this one before. It is Italian for “eyes”.

12 -Retto, one of our favorite Italian cat names. It means something like righteous and honest.

13 -Cretino, along the lines of nitwit. Used to describe a foolish character.

14 -Domani, that’s tomorrow in Italian. A spiritual and meaningful pet name.

15 -Marrone, as in “brown”. Very befitting if you happen to have a brownish cat.

16 -Piccante, meaning spicy. If you positively think your kitten will grow to be a ADHD cat.

17 –Lento, it stands for slow. For your lazy and slow moving cat.

18 -Caramella, As in candy. If you want to have a sweet pet name. This one's just right.
